The pieces we actually specify.

Seating built for long evenings. Top-grain leather that takes a mark and improves for it, performance weave that survives a full turnover season, shearling that reads as warmth before it reads as texture.

The chairs that get pulled toward the hearth and never go back. Swivels for the view, stools that double as a surface when the room fills up.

The single most photographed surface in a rental. Solid and reclaimed hardwood, seating that survives turnover, stools sized for an island that people actually sit at.

Reclaimed wood and cut stone. Mass at low height, so the room reads grounded in a wide-angle frame and nothing tips when a family moves through it.

Where the linens, the board games and the television live. Closed storage in dry black oak and worn veneer, open shelving that gives a stylist something to work with.

The reason a group books the bigger cabin. Real playing surfaces in ebonized and smoked oak, top-grain leather and cast iron, sized to a bonus room rather than a commercial hall, plus the bar that keeps everyone in it.

Blackened iron, antique brass, oak. Fixtures that carry a vaulted ceiling instead of disappearing into it, and lamps that put warmth at seated height.

Hand-knotted wool and a real hide. Pattern that hides traffic between cleans and holds its color under a wall of south-facing glass.

Original work from the Four Hands Art Studio above the mantel, and leaning mirrors that push light back into the dark end of a great room.
